Puerto Viejo, Bocas del Toro

I currently write this from Bocas del Toro, Panama. It's an Island off the coast. About a 30 minute boat ride. I came here with a person I met in Puerto Viejo. Not sure how long I will stay maybe a day, maybe a week -unlikely. The place, from what I can tell is a sweet old town. Reminds me a bit like the towns of the Moby Dick days.

I said goodbye to George today. I'm all alone! I guess I don't know what to think. But, it doesn't seem to be a problem. As I mentioned, I've already met another traveling companion. Well, at least for the day.

Puerto Viejo was an alright town. Quaint with a lot of harmless druggies. Within 2 minutes of being in the town, George and I were both offered drugs twice. And, in the 2 days we were there, we were offered drugs about 10 times. Not sure if it's legal, but cops definitely look the other way. I'm thinking of mass producing shirts that say "I you're selling, I'm not interested" or "don't ask, because I'm not interested" when I get back to the states. I figure, I'd print the same phrase in 10 different languages on the same shirt. I'd wear it!
